LAST CHANCE ... Brillig has one more session of its Fringe show this Sunday! All previous sessions have hosted a full house, so get there early for a closer view.

As well as playing their own brand of murder ballads, sea shanties & other tales of lost love, Brillig present a few of their favourite 'death' songs from fellow cheerful songwriters like Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave & more. There will be special guest singers on the night, including a few mysterious local muso superstars...heck, why not sing along too if you're inspired!

Head on down to the Grace Emily on 232 Waymouth St, grab a bevvie or two and settle in for an intimate night of gorgeous melodies & glorious melancholy, set in the surrounds of a (delightful) Tim Burton-style cemetery.

Brillig are also celebrating the local CD Launch of acoustic LP 'The Red Coats' , which was released overseas last year during the band's debut European tour. Grab a limited edition copy on the night and see why the Germans love it!

After Brillig's quiet, soothing and intimate show (starts 7:30 SHARP!), stick around for another special treat- The Bastard Sons of Ruination will be raising the roof off the joint with their raucous set a bit later in the evening (it's a holiday weekend, you know). Hint: if you want to see both bands, make sure to get there at 7:30 or you'll miss Brillig!!

Don't be shy, come along and join in as Brillig prove that murder ballads are in fact, strangely uplifting....
